Hello,

I have read this discussion:
http://bbcbasic.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18

If you want to make good game examples to promote BBCSDL , but you really don't have any idea. I think that you can download NaaLaa. It is a freeware and its BASIC dialect is for game development. Many, many excellent game examples about various game aspects are inside this small BASIC freeware. After you run these examples, I believe that these game examples will easily inspire you to make amazing game examples for BBCSDL...Sure!!!
:o :)

BBC Basic has been a proven game development platform for many years and has had amazing support and the documentation is very well presented. It is easy to use and has powerful tools. I am also a dedicated BBC Basic programmer and promote it as much as I can. I have no interest in learning another dialect.

Hi,

Please don't do that. Thanks. Don't need to report or delete my post.

The information of my post only give enthusiastic BBC BASIC users some creative ideas for making good game examples for BBC BASIC promotion.

Do you want a better future for BBC BASIC?

Thanks a lot.

This is a BBC Basic forum created on a dedicated BBC Basic server. Probably frowned on promoting another dialect and platform.

Response to the report: I think this is marginal, and I'm not planning to delete it, because I think the OP posted it to encourage people to write games, including in BBCSDL, but it could clearly be seen as promoting a "rival" product. Given that the forum was set up by Richard to support a specific product, that probably isn't appropriate.

Please can we try to keep the focus on this forum on BBC Basic (specifically BB4W and BBCSDL) and it's uses?

On a related topic (and I know I'm guilty too!), it probably isn't appropriate to have extensive discussion of matters pertaining to other fora: flagging up interesting topics, and providing links, is fine, but having long conversations probably isn't, unless it relates to a relevant topic, such as how to achieve something in BBC Basic.

Best wishes,

D (With his admin hat on!)

Good grief, even university lecturers are misusing apostrophes now. We're doomed I tell you, doomed.....

I think I understand Richard....
it's - always short for it is or it has
its - meaning belonging to it
